Our first store was a fact!
We sold backpacks, bags, and handbags straight from the boxes, without a real store experience — anything but professional. But we had a dream and the drive to grow. What started as chaos soon became a brand in the making. Today, we continue to build, with the same energy it all began with.
We continued to grow!
From 2021 onward, real growth began, and that same year we even became a sponsor of the New York City Marathon. What started small began to grow!
We changed course!
In 2023, we added bags to our collection — initially as a complement to our shoe line. But it soon became clear that this was more than just a test. The demand for our bags exceeded all expectations. The style, design, and quality immediately resonated with our customers. The success was so great that we decided to make a clear choice: the shoes were discontinued, and our full focus shifted to bags. Since then, American Tote has grown into a brand known for stylish, functional bags with character.
